I am really disliking this time change thing. Last fall, I had to get up an hour earlier so I could email chat with Carson when the time fell back an hour. So I had it all figured out that I could get up an hour later now that it is spring and we moved the clocks ahead an hour. WRONG!!! Lately Carson has been writing to us at about 5 am, so this morning I just slept in until my usual 6 am wake up time. Turns out he wrote me at about 3:30 am. So...I missed him. Now, I know that I have absolutely NO reason whatsoever to complain. I get to hear from him each week and that's better than what it was a few years ago...but...this is going to be a long week until I hear from him again. (Sigh) Oh well, at least he did send me a few pictures along with his little note this week.
Ok wow that is a really interesting letter. But thanks for i guess being proud of me. But ya thanks for all of your guys help to making me the person i am today really appreciate it.
So ya you guys went skiing or snowboarding. Sweet, you guys totaly looked all rady out. i had to laugh when i saw taylor and ashlees behinds all covered in snow. Made me laugh. Laughed and laughed. But it actually looks like fun maybe when i come back i'll try it out.
(These are the pics we sent to Carson of our first ever attempts at snowboarding!)
(That's me, then Taylor, then Taylor's friend Marissa, then Ashlee, and
on the end is Ashlee's friend Gracie.)
Taylor
Ashlee
Ashlee makes me laugh every time i think about here and hear her voice i laugh, Still hasn't learned respect has she.
People over here are all bout respect if you do anything disrespectful. They Tunapiga sona. They beat very much.
Kiswahilia and swahili same thing.
zone leader... Hehe lots of responsibility and actually Elder O is the actually Zl and i'm kind of like the assistant. SO still a lot of responsibility and have to be an example everybody so really hard.
Weather as you can see from those pic. That the rain season has started and it is mbaya sona.
(These are the pics he's talking about...)
we where caught walking from the chapel to the knects and it just poured and all we did was grab bags to put our scriptures in to keep them dry then after that we walked. The rain was nice and refreshing but people laughed. "Eh Wazungu and then we walked by and they said we where very wet and crazy. Very interesting. but the rain jacket i have used a few times it works but when i wear it it is way to hot. so i am at a difficult situation. Wear the jacket and die of heat strock or don't wear and get soaked. But overall the jacket is nice. But i think i left the umbrella in Nairobi so all i'm saying is Umbrella - ella - ella - ella. where are you...
Yes i'm taking my malaria pills kabisa.
but for new missionaries not really we got three new sisters so maybe it is coming but who knows.
But ya this week has been good. Went on Exchanges with the DL had some fun. Missed a baptism in my ward but oh well.
Love you lots and hope you guys are doing good.
Keep being the best
And be safe.
These are some other pictures he sent us this week. They must be from the Knecht's when they had the farewell party last week as well as celebrated his birthday!
