Ya mom how is it going Hope all is well.

For us we are doing good all is well nothing the matter. Everything is going smooth Thanks for writing me and i hope you are ok. ya i just wrote to dad thanks for everything i hope all is well for you because for us we are doing well, I hope you are there so we can chat, Thanks again mom Love you lots

Yes I'm here Carson.  I understand that things are going well for you....but is there any way I can get some more details?  Thanks for writing dad.  He's not quite up yet but I'll let him know.  He was really worried you wouldn't get his letter this week so hopefully you got it.  Ok...I'll be here for a while.  Don't hold anything back...just write me to your little hearts content.  Love to hear all the details Carson!  Love you lots too!

um ok then realisticaly i don't know what to right about we haven been seeing lots of people and enjoying but if you want something please just ask

I just thought you could write about what you did this week.  Or about something that interested you.  Or how about describing some of the people that you meet.  I don't know.  There's got to be something that you did this week that you liked.  I just tell you all the tedious details of my week.  But the things you are doing that seem tedious to you might be interesting to me.  Not really sure what to specifically ask you so....   If you're seeing lots of people, what do you like about them?

Ok well the couples found this mzee he is a electricion and we went and saw him he has a wife and four kids and all but the wife know alittle english so we get there and these people where powerful kabisa kabisa eh it was awesome and we did it in swahili is it was even more powerful because i was atleast some how there,

All of these people are nice and very interested in new things so they are very open and wanting to learn they are very very awesome.

See...how hard was that?  I love that.  Those are the kind of things I LOVE to hear about!  Simple but so wonderful to hear.  How is the swahili coming for you?  Sounds like you must have a pretty good grasp on it.  Are you understanding like...75-80% of what is said or is it more by now?  Which is amazing!  What makes the people powerful to you?  What does that mean when you say that? 

ah maybe 50 or 40 it is still hard but i can kindly start to hear it now. There willingness to learn and to listen. just to met someone on the street and then to let them into their home so as they can share a message total strangers from different countries from different circumstances powerful

Wow...that really is amazing and powerful.  Are you liking being a missionary?  What's your favorite part so far?

ya i enjoy it it is alot of fun to met new people and just to be around these people and to get to know them it is awesome.

Good for you.  Is it getting any easier to just go up and start talking to people?  That's always the hardest step for me.

So any big plans this week?  What are you doing the rest of the day?

Same thing everyday just going and seeing people just chilling mom

Just chillin eh?   Well have fun with that.  Do you ever go out to eat or are you cooking mostly at home?  Last time you said that your companions have been doing the cooking and you just cut up what they tell you to.  Do you ever cook for them?  Are you learning how to make all that food over here for us when you get home?  I tried to send some taco seasonings and stuff like that to you.  Have you had any of that or does that even work over there?

mostly cooking at home ya i made breakfast today and now they want breakfast all the time. Yes i am learning

ya i get it but hamburger is kindly hard to find over here.

ugali and meat every day all the time

Does that ever get boring for you?

nope nope nope it is very nice but i m starten to get fat

What?  Sounds like you just need to get walking some more!!  How about the chips mayai?  Do you ever get that anymore?  Are you still able to get fruit and vegetables easily?

Really Carson?  You are going to find out that fruits and vegetables aren't always a bad thing.  Especially if the pants are getting a little tight!   

no Never my metabolism is to good. You know we should make a book called The Quotes of Big K. That would be good do you think President Monson would add it to the standard works.

Dad just got in from feeding the horses and I read this to him.  He agrees with you (of course) and says Pres Monson "should!  I'll be like the church leaders 50 years ago!"  Can't believe his head made it through the door just now!

Dad's wondering about the weather over there.  Is it still warm out or is it getting colder with the upcoming winter?  Do you have to ever wear a jacket?  We're in forest fire weather lately.  There's a constant haze in the air and it smells of campfire all the time.  Banff has got huge wildfires raging.

Dad was also wondering about your Kenya visa stuff.  Does that ever expire or what do you do to renew it?

it is somehow but they are telling us it is going to be the rain season soon, Yippee sometimes depends on the day, oops sorry. apparently i have all my stuff i could go to kenya at any time, really i don't know whats up but every 3 months u have to get it renewed so i don't know whats up with that funny stuff,

I'm hoping you get to stay in Tanzania.  It seems safer somehow I think.  Dad's secretly hoping that your visa expires and won't be renewed so that you have to finish out your mission in the Maritimes.  (Good luck with that Kenny)

Dad wants to know if you ever have to talk in church.

YA hehe is mom making plans to got to Hawaii still or on an cruise or something. hehehe

That is good i hope you are getting better.

This week has been good kindly slow but we have been just going through the area book and just ripping it up. But overall all is good we are teaching alot of people and seeing alot of people and now i understand what u have been talking about. Mission is Powerful everything i learn here will prepare me for future roles and i  am thankful you helped me to get here thanks again.

Hope you have a good week and enjoy the sights in Calgary are u able to watch the stampede or no. Hey we were walking around and these guy walked by with a Calgary Stampede shirt hey i was stunned and really missing the Stampede but eventually will see it again.
