     We had a bit of a scare this month with Carson's "emergency" visa account.  We noticed some unusual activity on it.  So we asked him about that this week.  Here is his letter to Ken:

Ya hey dad It is good to hear that you are doing better.

ya for us this week has been interesting, It started off with some people in Niarobi trying to get a hold of me. It was Elder Judd for sure i was scared then i talked to him and he said you guys sent a message to him about the visa, and that i should write you guys as soon as possible. So ya um All of those transactions were me i haven't lost my card and no one other than me use it. Just was buying some stuff and just helping my comps and i to survive the month. But ya money this side is the problem but apparently there are some words going around that i have a kenya work permit and i was supposed to go to kenya instead of Mwanza so probably in the next few months i ll be in Kenya.

Ya Nigeria is on the other side of Africa so Not really close but they are transfering people from Nigeria to come into Kenya to get away from that weird stuff.

Ya this week we haven't had any crazy experience not much really actually no baptisms but we are working on changing that soon. And soon we are going back to Dar for Zone conference can't wait.

Sounds like you are enjoying and having fun. Hope all is well. and i don't know about telling mom about writing her last was a good thing. But any way all is well and everything is good. Love you lots Hope all is well

And this is his letter to me.  I had been waiting all morning to hear from him but he didn't write until after 7 am.  But that was exactly the time that I was leaving to take Taylor to her EFY in Calgary.  So I barely had a chance to read his letter and then I had to run away.  Ken had asked me to ask Carson some things and was in the house when I was leaving so I thought Ken would just continue on with the conversation.  But...no...he had to go and do something with his horses so we left poor Carson hanging.  Great timing...not!

ya for me this week has been lots of fun. And interesting. we had a party at the branch which was fun. After that we worked Kabisa Contacting and teaching people but ah i am having a problem with swahili but this week i ll study harder and maybe i ll get it. But apparently i have a work permit to kenya so maybe soon i ll go to kenya. u never know.

sounds like everything is going good. After that not much more exciting stuff happened.

But ya dad was telling me about that (ebola) but that is in Nigeria on the other side of Africa so it shouldn't be a problem but they are sending some of those missionaries here to get away from it. Should be interesting to see.

But ya on the 16 th we are having a mormon helping hands so we ll be working at a hosipital should be fun i hope

Hi Carson,  Can't talk long.  I'm leaving right away to take Taylor to Calgary.  

Dad wants to talk to you too.  He's out feeding his horses so don't leave without talking to him please.  

I'm on the road to Calgary.  I love you so much and am so proud of you and all the good work you are doing.  

Keep washing your hands!!!

Work hard on your service project and take lots of pictures of it.  We haven't seen you in a while so....send us some. 

Exciting about Kenya.  Sorry about this but...hope that permit doesn't come through.  Tanzania sounds too safe for me and I wouldn't care if you stayed there.

Make sure you write back about the visa account though.  Dad will want to ask you more about it.

yup yup yup um but not to sure about the kenya permit thing. Because apparently i already have it and they almost sent me to Kenya instead of Mwanza but ya for sure talk to you later eh.

Dad's here now....He just wants to make sure those visa money withdrawals were you.  He would like to have you give him advance notice before you withdraw that much.  We like to keep ahead of the withdrawals because then we don't have to pay the service fee.  When we get behind on those...it's five dollars for every transaction.

Gotta go.  Dad will still want to hear from you.  love ya.
