     So Christmas was only a few days ago...but it was still nice to get an email today!  (My lecture to him was about working hard these last few months so he had no regrets!)

well mom how is it today?

As for me all is going well here really miss you lots but ill remember you lecture and get back to work. Actually for some reason i was more determined to go and work but then i went to sleep and woke up the next day with another sugar hangover, because of all of the ice cream i ate at the christmas party. yo yo yo ice cream now a days murder me. Well um i think when i phoned i was just really excited so that is maybe why i was talking so fast. Um after that not much has happened this week taught a few people but most people have left and went to spend the rest of the week with their families. The two most exciting days these last few days have been Sunday and monday. Saturday night the branch phoned me and said that i would be the back up for a talk the next day. Ah i have never prayed some one would be at church then that night, They at church they asked us to bless the sacrament. (Haven't done that for awhile) but after that i didn't have to give a talk because the person was there who was supposed to speak so all was well. After that not much but on Monday (today) i had a presidents interview. uh uh uh can i say nervous much. But it was all good and really powerful. For sure that mzee cares about this mission and loves all his missionaries it was great. so ya that is all that has happened this week for us. really enjoyed talking to you all. But ya riruta is more like a area within Riruta but for the most part it is quite not too much traffic that is what i ment by rural. But ya it is great here and i m really enjoying and looking forward to staying here for awhile. Love you lots and hope all is well that side.

Hey Carson!  So glad to hear from you.  Sorry about the sugar/ice cream hangover but I bet it was worth it.  Who doesn't love ice cream?

I was excited too when you called.  It was so nice to hear your voice and have actual confirmation that you are still alive!!!  Phew!

At least they gave you some notice about being the back up speaker. 

What happens in a president's interview?  Does he grill you about what you've been doing or teaching?  Give you any advice?  Tell you to tell your momma to stop sending packages?

Any big plans today?  Did I tell you it's snowing and wintery and cold here?  I hope you enjoy all that warm sunshine.  Then again...maybe dad will break out the skidoos this week before all the snow blows away.  What would they think of a little white stuff in Africa?

Hey ya um Presidents it usually is just to see how you are doing and how to make u better i guess. He has only told me once but that was only when grandma sent the root beer this side. Ya here it is like +25 sorry to burst that.

hehe here in Africa snow ha ha ha they would think the world was ending. yo yo yo it would be a disaster.

Hey grandma ya i really enjoyed talking to ya guys to sorry bout the weather hope i can go and serve somewhere coldish over here so i can get some how prepared to come back soon. Here i hate to say it is around 25 C just chilling around t- shirt and shorts boy will i suffer when i return. No i just got the two little ones. But i did get a package from u guys today it was in a big christmas box and it was just great just a day late but all is powerful thanks for that eh. Hmm i haven't heard anything of transfers of couples but i know they are coming here on the 31 for a couples teaching thing a majig. That all i know though, Hey love you too hope all is going well that side.

Hey hey Mzee ya i m doing good here just had an interview with the big man president Hicken, all is well just had a nice chat. ya for sure endure to the end and finish the job. hahah we will see, i m actually growing now so i ll be towering over you all and just messing with ya. We will see but i ll let you know in a head that i m jogging around now and playing basketball as much as i can so I ll be ready for you people... he he i m going to school you guys and i won't even be funny. he he love you too. Mzee hope all is just peachy that side.

Hey dad ya all is going great.

Really enjoyed talking to all of you too. Um ya this week nothing to special happened the most intense/ scary/ exciting part was today INTERVIEWS with President Hicken. It went well and really enjoy him really is really cool and can relate to a lot of things that happen in this world to people. (But i guess that happens when you get as old as he is) But ya overall all is going good. My new area is pretty cool, They had me and my comp bless the sacrament this week (Been a long time since the last time i had done that.) Also they wanted me to give a talk on Sunday. and oh course they phoned me saturday night. They wanted me to be the back up and talk about Personal development through personal planning. um can i just say that i prayed a lot for that person to be there, But ya she was there and i didn't have to speak. i felt as if i was sitting in a ray of light, IT was powerful. Ya as for my old area they white washed it Two new guys are there. HEY wait a second what s this ping pong stuff going around...

oh well it was god to talk to you and i hope to talk to you next week. Miss you alot and love you too
