This was Ashlee's letter to Carson that she wrote last night. I had to put it in here because it kind of gives some background as to what Carson writes about later. The funny part about her letter though is that she wrote it after she phoned Grandpa Walburger and talked to him for a while. Between the two of them, they came up with quite the plan on how to drive Carson crazy. She was giggling the whole time she was writing the letter and I can only imagine the look on Carson's face when he read it!
hey carson this is just me again...... so we have been having some fun here ummm me and dad are the only people that havent been killed yet but i can feel it coming ..... so hopefully you are not almost dead but the only reason you would be almost dead was because of the heat :) hahahahaha um so kaylee and taylor had a knock down fight today i was sleeping i front of the t.v and i wake up to ahhh scream ad hiting and suprise me its them killing each other 1st mom stole kaylee's i pod cause kaylee stole moms i pod then just about 10 minutes ago kaylee came upstairs to wright to you then mom told her to go into her room and not to come out for the rest of the night then she desided to run down stairs grab her basketball and run out and practice her b-ball well mom caught her and told her to get down stairs so she took her basket ball and started throughing it at the roof mom walks down stairs takes her basketball and so we are4 all kinda scared of kaylee right now... i guess that its kinda a good thing i am the youngest couse i can just slip past them all but i am having some fun at home but i am going to think of happy thoughts i am not really doing much just bumming around and i am so exited for skating because u know how i like skating... i was talking to grandpa on the phone on sunday and we were thinking of what to wright to you i think by the first thing you here you will just want to shut off your gmail account right now so here it goes!!!!

A Kaylee sounds like a dream back home. Not much has changed i guess. But why can you get away with everything ashlee just because your the baby of the family doesn't mean anything. Well that is interesting. ya i have heard some stuff about taylor and kaylee going blow for blow but i didn't hear why or who ended it or if there was any casualties. but other than that ya sweet beans. It would seem like i wasn't the complete problem eh. hehe. ya i teach English class every Jumanne and Alhamisi it is alot of fun. all we do is practise talking and speech. But I'm starting to wish i had actually listened to Freda in Class now instead of falling asleep at the back. :) Ya this week has been alot of fun. we had the same # of lessons 21 but it was alot of work but it is fun and it seems to make the weeks go faster so. that sounds like alot of fun back home but ya mission work is going well. thanks hopefull grandpa and dad are doing better in the coming week. but grandpa is a stubborn old rancher so either way he will make himself get better. and then dad has his special ability to self heal himself so hopeful they will be doing better. no i think i was just lucky being sent to Tanzania so ya but lots of people (wazungu) are having alot of problems in Kenya right now so ya. Don't have to worry about that i'm here so ya. but it will be interesting to see what will happen eventually.
So many packages i can barely contain my excitement. oh boy oh boy oh boy. I can't wait but they most likely won't get here but next zc. oh well better late then never i guess.
That is very interesting sunday sounds like it was alot of fun for you guess, very interesting topics and then blue steel that kid i never could see him being a seminary president. but everybody loves so i guess it makes sense.

Are your baptisms still on for the first?
No i made my recovery two days ago. my comp he is doing good, he continues to buy apples and i just take one or two of his. we don't know write now one of these girls has is leaving on the 6 of Dec. so if we baptize them on the 1 we have to confirm them the following week but as of right now we don't now exactly what we can do with these girls.
Why do they have to wait till the next week to confirm them? Don't they usually do it right after the baptism?
It weird how they do it they baptize someone right after church. and then the following week they confirm them. I just would assume baptism on saturday then the next day confirm but apparently lots of people can't make it on saturday so i guess i don't really understand but whatever works i guess.
Yeah, that is kinda weird. It would seem to make more sense to do it all at once. Then everybody is already gathered and the job is done! Huh. I wonder why that is...
So...any big plans this week?
No not really. Just the samething as this last week. work work work. and see some CRAZY people. but other than that not much. This transfer is almost over so ya not much happening,
Oooh! I love crazy people stories. I LIVE with the crazy people. They make me a crazy people!!! I wanna hear about them!!! And what do you mean this transfer is just about over??? You just got transferred..sort of...in a way. How often do they have transfers? I thought this was going well for you. Look how good you and Elder O are doing...it's like you're the dream team of Africa!!!
ya just carzy people. Telling oh ya we will met with you and then they don't.. and then this huge heifer lady they other day and her aunt met with us and they were very curious about our ages so Elder O said ya i'm 22 and these other girls where 20 and just barely 18 and when i said i was 18 they were like ooooooo. and they started moving closer and closer to me and i just said well we got to bounce and Elder O was no we don't let explain stuff. we stayed for another 10-15 min gave them a Kitabu cha mormoni then i ran elder o walked. but it was insane. big old heifers looked like they were 25-30 turns out they are 18-20 started to come after me. yikes!! transfers last every 6 weeks so we are in week 5 so two more weeks then it is done. oh ya we are the dream team oh Dar. even the DL has said 21 lessons in sinza how? it's like ya baby that's us.
Heifer lady's...??? Really Carson. That's not very nice...though it does put a definate picture in my head. Perhaps we need to work on a nicer word for it though. So they were checking you out huh...good for you for running away!!! Smart man! What is kitabu cha mormoni? Do you think you'll be transferred out of Dar es Salaam or get a new companion? I'm sure if your DL is so impressed with you...and because you just started with Elder O...maybe you'll get to stay for the next 6 weeks.
oh she was very wide in the hips. or she was very plump in a nice way. Bofm. ??? We don't know, Elder o feels he will be transfered but who knows??? maybe you never know we will be finding out sometime next week or so.
So funny...your political correctness is improving already!!! I can't have you transferred yet. I sent Elder O some stuff in that last parcel I sent...You have to stay together for a bit longer!!! I can't stand it!!! I even labelled some of the items to him. I guess if you do have a new companion by the time that package gets to you (IF it gets to you) you'll either have to save it for him or just scribble over his name and give it to someone else. Lesson learned I guess.
So you seem to be really getting the hang of this swahili thing. Are you able to carry on conversations yet? Or are you still just picking out words here and there? It's amazing to me how fast you're catching on. I'm very impressed.
And that's where he left me. He must have had to leave pretty quickly. Well, I guess that's it till next week. And yes...Kaylee and Taylor and I have survived! Just in case anyone was wondering!!

Sawa that sounds like you guys are doing good. Hope your feeling better soon. but the temp right now is about umm 30-35. and the best part is our a/c is only in one room. and even better it doesn't work every well. so at night i sweat like nothing else. it isn't a fun experience but i guess it's better then freezing to death right. :) Anyway ya i don't know exactly when that family was going to drop in there kind of crazy. but they are a lot of fun. Sasa they probably will come and see you soon. But hey hope you guys are feeling ok. i have just recovered from my disease wasn't fun. but now i'm back on my feet and kicking the dust. Hey sounds like your doing good, other than being sick. Hope works going good for you. Ahsonta sona.
