     Having some troubles with the computer lately so I'm kind of behind getting these last few letters posted on time.  Sorry.  Hopefully I'll get caught up soon.  Here's my letter from Carson...

well ya everything is cool. Week has been really short and having lots of fun and doing all of stuff. Work wise and stuff that inv. lady who was sick and I had to phone the Mzungu for her. She was Pregnant. and she really only looked about 4-5 months but yesterday she produced a little baby boy...

ok sweet we going to see it when it comes home really cool and pretty funny

ya they do have gardens here.

um... Muslims we have them here and it is alittle mixture. we don't ignore or avoid them because of that but because it is really hard to teach them they are very stubborn. and also they don't kill here but they just like disown or abandon.

Don't get too excited about the will.  You'll probably just get a lot of bills to pay when I'm gone.  Good luck with that.

Sounds good about the inv lady. Hope she's doing ok.  Are you teaching anyone else too?

What about the iPads?  Do you think you'll ever get something like that?

Ya we are teaching a lot of people we met this family and I swear this one girl and taylor are exactly the same it makes me laugh hard and a little sad but it is so funny.

hahaha Ipads here that would be like putting a big free money here sign please come beat me and take this very expensive piece of technology. Nope i don't think ipad will be this side of the lake. even cars for that matter

What makes the girl and Taylor the same?  Would love to hear more about the families and people you are teaching!!!

I figured about the iPads.  Just thought that you could carry them in your bag and who would know.  Wouldn't you just take them out for teaching?

No cars still eh?  But are you still riding bikes?

They just acted the same it is hilarious we have been teaching them piano and hahaha I had to look twice to see if Taylor had mysteriously came over.

Nope nope nope because u would take them out and these people would be like ohhhh technology... then they get all of there friends and they beat u and take it. But mainly these people can't even afford there own bibles and we are walking around with ipads it would be very not good. No cars and we aren't even supposed to have bikes.

Not really but this week we are going to arusha on Wed. to Frid. Should be fun 

Teaching them piano?  Good for you!  I had hoped that those piano lessons would come in handy for you one day!

But I thought you were riding bikes around.  And I thought Mwanza was a little easier to navigate than Dar was.  Just make sure you have bike helmets...and pads...and gear...and maybe just walk!

Arusha sounds fun.  What's going on there?

How are you and the companion doing anyway?  Is it different to have a white companion as compared to having a black one?

um just two white guys walking around just blows them away. and then they get smart and try to use English. abunch of stupid kids yesterday where like good morning (It was 6 Evening) Madaam (Do I look like a girl) and they where like Where is my money? where is my booky stuff like that and as we where walking away all of them start just yelling F### u F### U and crape like that I was about to turn around and beat some kids yesterday.

That's kind of funny about the morning and madam thing...but could get a little scary with the swearing.  How do you respond to that?  Do you get it quite often?  Good luck...Hope you stay safe!   What do you think is better...having two white boys or having the mix of white/black companions?

yes a lot u just ignore it because stupid ignorant people are saying stuff they don't understand what they are saying. mixture for sure just because it helps with the work. With two white kids running around the only thing they think about is MONEY

That's kind of scary in a way.  Too bad that they say that stuff to you.  Do you ever turn around and shock them when you can speak swahili?  

Whatcha doing in Arusha this week?  That's close to Kiliminjaro right?  Hope you get some good pictures of that.  There's a couple people at the hospital who've climbed part of that mountain and always tell me to tell you that you need to take a detour and go try it out.  I'm not sure you'll ever get to do that...but take some pictures of it for me ok?  I'd love to see how close you are to it.

Sometimes but that just spurs them on so it is just to be quite.

mission leader Conference again. Yes really close to Kiliminjaro.  I would love to but we don't stay long enough to do that maybe if I get transferred there I ll see what I can do. ya ok I ll do that but u might not see them until a year later.

That's ok...I can wait to see them.  Just want you to take some pictures of where you are and where you've been.   Have fun at your leader conference.  Do you think they'll bring you down any packages...if there are any?  I sent a letter a while ago...have you ever got that?

ya they just wrote me that in the office it is full of packages for me. nope not yet but maybe on Wednesday.

Wow...that sounds awesome!  It will be a little like Christmas I bet.  What are you imagining will be in them?

I don't even now but I hope it is all good stuff.

I'm putting together another package this week...any requests?   And how come you changed the password on your Facebook?  I miss seeing the pictures that other people put up with you in them.  At least then I got to see your cute face once in a while.  I kind of miss seeing that.  But I get that you probably needed the privacy.  Sorry if I ever got too...snoopy.

I would LOVE to see some of those other pics!  That would really be a treat if you could send those.  Thanks so much! 

Any ideas what you would like in your packages?  Do you like the moo chews or hi chews that we've sent or would you like something else?  How about some werthers?  Did you ever get the beef jerky we sent?  Does that even get to you over there?  

Here's something I'm sure you're not missing.  The girls have been awake about 5 minutes and we have our first sister war of the morning.  Of course it's everyone else's fault. Never their own.  "I was just minding my own business!"  Oh my heck it sure gets old sometimes!

Anything is good ya always beef jerky comes. HAHAHAH sister wars is that like world war 3 or something less is the lines draw yet

World war 15 or 16 is what we're up to right now.  And then they get all miserable with me when I try to break it up...like now all of a sudden it's MY fault!!!    I give up!  I think I'm just going to go back to bed and hide under the covers till they are gone to school.  Maybe then it'll be safe to come out.  

Do you and your companion ever get grouchy with each other?  Does it ever remind you of the "Winds of War" that we have around here?  Wait...it's two guys...things can't ever possibly be as bad as when you get girls involved.

They might not even go to school just sit there arguing and then the bus hongs and then it is a big drama turned to a hurried tornado. Some times but we are guys last about 10 min then it is over. like I say home it is interesting for sure for me I would like to now who will win

Sounds like you remember it all too well.  So you should know...NOBODY ever wins...especially never me!  I just wish they could figure out how to stay out of each others way for five seconds.  Why do they all have to be in the kitchen at the same time? And then when one needs the bathroom...suddenly they ALL need to be there!  Oh well...they only have another 20 minutes or so and the bus should be here for them.

How about you...any big plans today?  What do you use for laundry soap? One of the girls I work with said they took a bar of sunlight laundry soap with them when they went to Africa and it was awesome.  Washed everything super clean.  What do you use?

Just laundry soup from the duka close to our house. mom I m not out in the bunnies right now it is pretty much city here. Just like home. Except no Wendy's or Laundry machines. Just have to improvise with those things. Sorry but just ran out of time I need to go love you mom talk to u next week and I ll tell u if I move or not soon.

No it sound like u guys are just partying and having a whole bunch of fun with out me really it makes me very depressed this side.

oh well though sounds like u are enjoying the weather that side, even us we are enjoying right now it is like +25-30-35 some where in there. Ya I agree with u though I have a few pic this side which makes me laugh and laugh but journal writing for me has been hard but we ll get back on that. Dentists haha pole mzee. Seems like u guys are all doing good. Even me I am doing good enjoying mission but missing my family and I ll be honest you where right mission is hard. Give me a pitch fork, a shovel, or any tool and some gloves, and it is game on. but give me a book and tell me to teach someone about it haha uh what not fun lets try this again. But with God any thing is possible but ya. All is good having fun and enjoying,

And Grandma sent me her letter that Carson sent to them...  I especially love the part where he finally realizes how hard it is to come up with an idea for what to make for dinner!  Now I can't wait for the other kids to go away from home and maybe start gaining some appreciation!!!

Wow bibi that is very inspiring thank u for that. haha that is powerful. scared of cows. ah been thinking bout home a lot. It Is going great. great apparently I have gained 10 kg I m now 155 lb. I left home with 130-40 something like that. Don't know if I should be worried or happy. Nope no Walmarts but some times they have these stores with just about anything u can find. my comp said he found A+W once I almost cried. ya almost everyday I wonder how mom does it. this stuff is hard. what are we going to eat. um ugali and meat ah we had that last three weeks lets have something else.

Going great lots of people are progressing and we have found a bunch people who are very very powerful. We just got to get them to church, It will be great though, For that is true lots of fun this side and a lot of work for sure.

BABU HOW IS IT GOING!!!! That sounds like a lot of fun. For sure this week I ll be honest I have been day dreaming about working that side with u again. If I can just seeing me throwing calves and tagging them and cleaning that barn out and those stupid low calf shelters yup yup yup miss that stuff for sure.
