Found a letter from the mission president in my email this morning...
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
There continues to be a great deal of concern regarding the
Ebola outbreak in Western Africa. Fortunately, there have not been any
reported cases of the virus in Kenya/Tanzania and it is our prayer that all of
the affected countries and families will be blessed with a quick resolution to
this terrible illness.
All of the missionaries in the Kenya Nairobi are safe and
although there is no immediate danger of catching the virus, the missionaries
are being trained in preventative measures to continue to keep them safe should
the virus spread to our country.
We appreciate your continued prayers in our behalf. Please
be assured that the health and safety of your missionary is one of our primary
concerns.
Since we do not have e-mail addresses for many of the families
of our missionaries, we would be grateful if the stake presidents would forward
this information on our behalf.
Sincerely,
Pres. Gary Hicken
Kenya Nairobi Mission
