And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
Mark 1:17
We are indeed enjoying a great fishing trip.

The Mwanza branch did a phenomenal job in their first time providing "Mormon Helping Hands" The Branch Presidency chose to serve the Local Hospital, what an inspirational choice since it's close proximity to our Chapel. The branch had full support of their members, each family was represented along with the our new converts & investigators. They cleaned, scrubbed, pruned, racked, dug & taught the gospel of Jesus Christ, what a wonderful day.
"But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him."
Moroni 7:47

Chakula ni tamu,(food is sweet) delicious meal put on by our branch president and his wife, along with shared testimonies by the missionaries made for an enjoying meeting.

So that was very fun for me to go back and see all these fun pictures of Carson and the area he is in.  And I was able to write a little message to Sister Bevans to thank her for her service and also for their help in watching over the missionaries.   But I am learning that all good things must come to an end.  This is Sister Bevans message back to me this morning:

It is nice to meet you too & it is good to see that Facebook can be a used for a good thing.  We had a son that served in Zimbabwe we didn't see any pictures of him while he served, so we know how important it is to see how your missionary is doing when they are so far a way.  Elder Williams has been helping me in the primary & has been an awesome assistant with the language & knowing the primary songs.  I couldn't of established a primary program here without his help, he was so willing to serve & he was fun. forgive me if this doesn't make sense, I'm a bit rushed for time.   On a sad note he wanted me to let you know he is been transferred.  We had dinner with all the missionaries at our house last night, celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving, American Thanksgiving & as it turns out Elder Williams transfer.  he is the only one from this area leaving.  He was a bit concerned about letting you know that he is going to Kenya, Lucky Summers is the name of the area.  The other elder that is here said it is an awesome place and that he'll love it, Elder Williams is excited because he'll have access to root beer.  I hope this helps and thanks for the prayers.  sincerely Sister Bevans

Of course he would be wanting his root beer!  What a nut!   But then I had to look up Lucky Summers on the map. It appears to be on the North East corner of the city of Nairobi.  Can't wait till next Monday to hear where he is and how the root beer tasted!  Thanks Grandma!
