    I have to give a talk in church in two weeks and I'm kind of in a panic over it.  It's a really hard topic for me so I thought I would ask Carson for some advice.  So when I wrote my letter to him, I put "HELP, HELP, HELP" in the subject line!  Then my first sentence to him was "Carson...I'm in BIG trouble!"  And from there, I explained my predicament and how I needed his help.  This was his reply:

Well mom you kindly scared me about that HELP HELP I M IN BIG TROUBLE mom i thought someone got kidnapped or something i was scared to open this email. But all is it is about a talk on Prayer. Hmm i don't know exactly how to help ya. You where the one to write all my talks. Oh me i don't know now i m going to be stressing over this um maybe a story about when u lost your credit card and we prayed about it and you found it. A h let me think about this one kidogog The power of prayer.

Well that sounds like you guys are having a good time this week. Um well for us

Tuesday we we tried to see people but they all bounced

Wed- Because of transfer we didn't have ddm so we just went to the church and taught a few more people.

Thru. Taught a few more people

Fri. we where both some how sick. (Njuguna had tonsilies and i just overdide it in some exercise and did something to my stomache area so we just chilled

Sat- We went and worked.

Sun- stressful went up to upperhill for my comp interview. and  i was just chilling waiting arond hangout with Rawson and then he came and asked who is next for the interview. and me i m just standing there. and then he looks at me and shoots ELDER WILLIAMS how you doing buddy. and i took his hand and wham big old bear hug and then he let me go after and then looked at me and said, "keep it up and continue going strong williams." to say the least i was kindly confused. But i guess my comp praised me alot in his interview so he was really impressed. Sweet.

Today just chilling

This next week um just doing the same thing as this week just seeing people  and having lots of fun as usually. But ya all is going well.

Sorry to stress you out.  I'm the one who's stressing over this talk thing.  But I thought you'd have lots of stories about some experiences you've had OVER THERE about prayer.  The credit card thing isn't too bad...but...welll, not sure what to do. 

Sounds like you've had a busy week teaching.  Good for you.  Keep it up!  Is it mostly member referrals?  

What's a comp interview?  Was that the mission pres who was giving you a bear hug?  Does just your companion get interviewed or do you too?  

That's awesome that you're still in Riruta.  I think that is what you were wanting right?  Do you still have Njuguna as a companion?  Sounds like the two of you are doing pretty good together. 

Any big plans today?

ya we are mostly teaching members refferals. My companion had a interview with pres. ya President Hicken swallowed me up and just bout broke my spine. it depends on the time i ll probably have a interview some time in March. yup Riruta power. Ya Njuguna is still here when we found out the news we shouted with joy we had been planning for a party on Mar 2 so they left us here so it is party time yup yup yup. Not really any big plans But i have a question did you hear about The Brethren Oaks and christoffesen getting on the Salt lake news and calling for Feberal and local governments to make laws on religious freedoms?

So only one of you has a comp interview at a time?  Well, that was very nice of him to praise you up like that.  Good work Carson.  Proud of you!  

March 2...hmmm...wonder what's great about that day?  Couldn't be someone's birthday?  YAH!!!   So what are the big party plans?  Keep it chill ok.  Don't do anything too crazy!  I did send some birthday stuff to you so hopefully it makes it there in time for you!  Can't believe you're gonna be 20 soon.   

Forgot to ask...how's your stomach?   (That's not something I've had to say in a while..."I overdid it exercising."  But it is probably something I need to start doing!!!)   How's Njuguna's tonsils?

I haven't been paying too close attention to the Salt Lake news lately but I bet dad knows something about it.  He usually reads the KSL news.  I'll have to go look it up.  Why?  What have you been hearing?

It just depends with how Presidents time is.

You think im 20 i cant believe it hahaha mzee kweli. Just going to KFC. and after that buying a big cake. just bout it. ya all is going well. He got some medicine for it so he is doing ok now.

ya we where talking about it the other day while we were in Upperhill and i watched alittle bit of it today but basically it is Elder Oaks and christoffeson asking for religious freedoms and it was interesting but lots of people where making stupid comments on it so i turned it off when it was half through, Hey those mzee blasted alittle bit it was interesting

The problem with you being 20 is that it makes me feel soooo old.  (You know how we like to make it about me!)  

You have KFC over there?  Is it any good?  Do they use real chicken or ....some other kind of protein?  (Do I want to know the answer to that?)  How much does KFC cost?  When we were in Taber for Ashlee's bball tourney...we went to KFC and they had the best strawberry cheesecake.  Loved it!  What kind of BIG cake are you planning on getting?  

Good to hear that your comp is feeling better.  Good luck with that.

Well now I'm curious about Oaks and Christoferson.  I'll have to look it up later.  

So....thought of any good prayer stories yet?  Have you had any prayer experiences over there I can use?  Like praying before heading out tracking and then finding someone golden?  The problem is...is that the topic prayer is just too broad.  At least I still have another week to think more about it...and so do you!   :)   Thanks for your help.

Hahah ya kfc is here and it is just like home POWERFUL. Some how expensize but not as much as some other things. we are still working on it but chocolate would be powerful. um . .. praying experiences um not really that i can think of but i ll let you know when i do. yup yup yup any time

Do they have any other restaurant franchises that you recognize over there?  Any Wendy's or A&W?  

Chocolate is always best!  Where do you get your cake from?  Grocery store, specialty baker, church friend, senior missionary couple?

No not that we have seen. There is a bakery right close to our flatt

A bakery that close to me would be dangerous!  Do you go there often?  What's your favourite thing to get?

Ya we go alittle bit um they make banana muffins Those are dangerous.

Well, anything else exciting happening...or are you almost out of time?

I do really like being able to email with you Monday mornings.  It's very...reassuring to me!  Thanks for taking your time and putting up with me.  I sure love you a lot Carson!  

Hey...that reminds me...it's Valentine's day on Saturday.  What kind of holidays do they celebrate over there?

Nothing much after that,. Ya for sure even i like it but i don't know if i ll be able to do it my last transfer. Wont have anything to write just thinking about home.

ok sawaw Ya we went to the mall to day and we saw a bunch of that stuff Valentine stuff. just bascially the same as home

Ok.  I don't ever want to interfere or bother you.  So just say the word and I won't do this anymore.  But it has been so nice for me.  Thanks for indulging me.  I sure appreciate it.  Hope you don't get too trunky.  Try to stay focused so you have no regrets.  We'll be here no matter what.  (Or you could remember that when you get home...you already have a dentist appointment booked.  That would make ME want to extend another 6 months at least!  I'm still not a big dentist fan.)

Hey don't worry that will maybe be my last transfer so that is still 6 and abit months away so don't worry. Ya i m think of extending because of that you just reminded me now i m crying inside.

Don't feel too bad.  My next appointment is in June and I'm already dreading that too!

what ever one of these missionaries when he gets home is getting surgery to get his hair back so ya hahaha he is pretty excited

Somehow it is just starting so he wants to go and get it reversed before it gets worse. ahaha we have been kind of mean to him lately

Reversed?  How can they do that?  Don't be mean to him...think of your poor grandpa...how would he feel?  Awwww

Well that doesn't sound like much fun.  At least your dentist appointment is just a checkup.  Shouldn't be anything TOO scary!

thanks Dad for the counseling. I think you should right a book and name it "A guide to a great life." By the one and only Ken Williams mzee wa upaku. ya that would be powerful.

But ya i have been think about that a little bit and i m still looking at something in Medicine. i m not exactly sure where but i like Biology Math and chem so maybe there would be good for me.

Ya i agree with you for sure i ll be looking around for that girl. yup i sustain you there.

As for the couples that was the first time on my mission that even the couples every came. Like they are not very serious about flatt checks they want to have the DL and ZL do it but ya mostly our flat is clean. but sometimes i get crazy and CLEAN stuff Like in Dar and Mwanza i cleaned the bathrooms there until there were gleaming with celestial glory. it was powerful but general it is kindly a general clean up.

But ya Baptism we are planning to have a lot of people baptized on the 22 of Feb we are hoping any ways. But it is going good my comp had a interview on sunday and ya we went got it done and we where out of there but ya everything is going well just enjoying mission and tryng not to get trunky but ya everything is going great. I have a good companion and a good area no where else i would want to be. Thanks Dad for the words of comfort and counsel. really need and appreciate it thanks again. Hope to talk to you more next week

Hey grandma ya all is going well what bout you guys?

We do mostly teaching investigators because we do not know any la or in actives. somehow it is a large area but it is really nice. nope still have the same companion. hey sorry about that. About his time all i need is just love from home so if you don't send anything dont mind all is ok here, but if you want candy is nice and my comp really enjoys them so feel free. Thanks though.

ah don't worry all is well miss you guys alot and hope to see you soon. Love you lots
