February 2, 2015

So good to hear from Carson today!  Sounds like he'll have an interesting week coming up.  Ashlee had a rough basketball game this weekend.  She played a tournament in Taber and ended up playing in the bronze medal game.  The coach got two technical fouls on himself in the last 5 minutes and got ejected from he game.  Ashlee made the winning basket with only 1.7 seconds left and we all cheered...but then the ref made them put 2.4 seconds back on the clock, gave the ball to the Taber team and let them take it out at half court and they scored...so we lost.  It was an odd game.

The Superbowl was this weekend.  The Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.  We went to a friends house with the girls to watch it on their big screen tv and had a bit of a party.   Fun way to start February!!!

haha mom thats powerful. ya Ashlee was telling me something about her game. AND IN HER EYES they won. haha ya but it sounds like home is going great. Dad is doing. Great. What happened to Kaylee. and then Taylor is recuperating and ashlee is well... ashlee. Well as for me the williams we are doing good. Mission this week has been great and really enjoying ya transfers are tonight we ll have to see what happens. I m pretty exciting but it is going to be interesting by aug. we are losing around 50 missionaries and that would leave them with 30 some and also they are saving all of those who are waiting for visas here have all be reassigned so no we have 8 visa waiters. puff that sucks. but oh well. but ya all is going great this side. It is flipping hot this side like sunburning hot even my comp is suffering and he is from here. hahahha makes me laugh.
But also i got some information from the office. Apparently you aren't leading the mission with packages but you are in the top three. hmmm don't worry mom you ll always be number one in my eyes. But ya it was a pretty good laugh,
haha that would be powerful maybe i ll give you some advice with mission work but i think dad has all the tricks so but one thing missionaries like is one
BAKED GOODS what ever mission you serve in hehehe your baking will be a blessing to many. hahha
Hope your here to chat
Love you lots
Carson

Hi Carson!  So good to hear from you.  Wow!  I'm stunned that there will be that many missionaries leaving in August! That's unbelievable!  Why are you not getting any new ones to take their place?

Well I'm very glad to hear that I'm in the top three!  A girl has to have goals you know!  I'll try harder for these last few months!  I'm still working on those baking skills too!  Got to get them just right so I can use them in....maybe...September?  Maybe some cherry pies and brownies and....we'll see what else I can make.

Any good missionary stories today?

Any big plans for the rest of the day?

hahaha that is an idea right there i sustain kabisa. Well it is just with the visa problems no one is coming in and lots are finishing there missions soon too.
So thats why we are losing so many.
Not really this week has kind of been the same as the last few but funny story i was walking past a dala dala the other day and some one threw their water on me.
Big plans for this day. um just chill and wait for trasnfer news. after that not much

Would they ever have to shut the mission down because they couldn't bring in enough missionaries?

Is a dala dala like a bus?   Did they throw their water on you on purpose?  Maybe you just got baptized into a different church?  Ha ha.   Maybe they were just trying to cool you off?  Hopefully it was clean water.

You asked me about Kaylee...did she write to you.  You'll have to ask her how she liked being "loved up" at the football game last night.   (Some 12 year old boy decided he liked her so cuddled up on the couch next to her, put his arm around her and then laid his head on her shoulder.  She was way creeped out.)

I tried to ask but they said well butwana has 20 missionaries now and they are doing fine so we should be fine.???\
It was on purpose but it cooled me off so it was somehow ok.  ya dala dala or matatu = bus or mini van. ya hahah maybe i didn't see it just felt it but it was ok. hmmm she didn't write to me but no worries i ll come home and take care of some unwanted attention. African style bizinga.
Hahah sounds like lots of fun

Really?  It was on purpose?  What did you do to them to think they had to throw water on you?  Did you give them a BOM?

I think she would love some protection right about now.  She was a bit creeped out last night.   But I'm scared to find out what African style bizinga is.  ?

By the way, you wrote last week about some guy you were playing basketball with.  And you mentioned something about BRT.  What is that?  And how is he doing?  Are you teaching him anything anymore?

I don't know u know me COMPLETELY INNOCENT you see this face innocence kabisa
no worries u ll see when i get back i ll be walking around with it for a week when i get back bring africa to Raymond Alberta oh ya
Build a relationchip of trust we didn't see him this week but plan to see him next week.

You?   Innocent?  When?

Now I'm a little worried about what you're bringing home.  Let's not get into TOO much trouble!  Raymond might not be ready for that.

BRT...got it.  Sounds good.  Good luck with that.  Hope it goes well for you.

How often do you have to go to the mission home now that you are in Nairobi?

hahahhahahahhahahhaha
every week for ddm for district meeting we go to church headquaters so ya chec everyweek for packages it is always great.

Well that's kinda cool that you make it up there so often.

Is it as hard to get missionaries into Tanzania as it is into Kenya?  Would they ever change the mission home down to TZ instead?

Just finished scripture study this morning.  Now onto breakfast.  Guess what Dad is cooking today?  Maybe I shouldn't tell you.  But I bought him a new Christmas present.  I forgot to tell you that on Wednesday this week, Grandma took me to Calgary with her when she went to her ear doctor.  And I bought us a new dehydrator because we burned out the old one when we were making jerky last year.  So...on the weekend we made a batch of "cracked pepper and garlic" jerky and this morning he's making "teriyaki".  We have to get the process perfect before you get home ya know!

just chill with everybody. President. is trying to ask the bretheren Apostles if they can call people to this mission but have them permantely stay in Tanzania No they will leave it in kenya
What oh my goodness wow that is so powerful now i m really really looking forward to getting home.

Interesting.

Don't be too excited to get home.  You still have a ways to go.  Like I said...we have to perfect this process first so we need a little more time.  So you just stay there and do your thing...and we'll get this jerky business down to a science.    Don't go getting trunky yet!

to late thanks though

CARSON!!!  Don't be trunky!!!   Get to work kid!  Dad says "Focus on the work.  You still have 6 months to go...that's 25 percent of your mission. "  Don't lose focus now!

How's the companionship going?  How does he feel about not getting into South Africa yet?  Any word on his visa?

Have you ever heard from Ojogollo lately?  Is he still out there?

good one.
ya he is doing good but he might be reassigned here so he has mixed emotions not yet.
Ojjogolo he is doing good but he is back in Dar es salama again he has mixed feeling about that be he is doing good though

Well, I guess the Lord wants them where the Lord wants them.

Anything else today?  How's the laundry going?  Have you had to buy new white shirts over there or is the supply we sent you holding out?

Laundry yuke yuke yuke i don't like it no all the shirts are doing pretty good

Well that's good to hear.  Any big plans coming up this week?  Or do you just have to wait for transfer news before you can make plans?  How late do you wait until you hear about a transfer?

hahah thanks for that.
Well we usually have to wait till 8 so for the rest of the day we will just wait until transfer news and see what happens.

What has been the best thing that happened to you all week?

um i got like 5 packages from you

Excellent!  What ones did you get?  What did you like the best out of all of them?

The ones from Nov. and taylors i think. The flavored sunflower seeds love it kabisa

That's funny that you love the flavoured sunflower seeds.  I will have to remember that.  Anything else that you found enjoyable?

Any other requests?

The sun flower seed are the best but also some choclate bars would be nice. nutt rolls and eat mores oh henries

Ok.  Good to know.  Haven't been able to find any nut rolls lately.  But I've sent the others.  Used to be that the pharmacy in Raymond stocked up on some of those USA chocolate bars.  But lately....not so much.  Maybe I'll have to make a flying trip down to Cutbank sometime.  The Canadian dollar has dropped quite a bit lately and is pretty weak...but...then again...sometimes it's just fun to go for a road trip!

Well, it's probably time for me to get these girls to school.  Hope you have a great week coming up and good luck with transfers tonight.  I sure love you lots!  Take care this week!  Work hard and have fun!

Oh ok what ever is good for you no worries hey and you too love you lots have a good week and u too

Say some prayers for Kaylee today.  She just told me her new semester schedule.  Chemistry first, then physics...so she says three straight hours of Baldry!!!   Hope she likes him!

Love ya Carson!

mmm wow i remember that it sucked kabisa

She's crying right now.  Hahahahahaha
I'm laughing cause I'm glad it's not me!!!

yo yo yo sorry for that
remember that i liked chemistry but physics was another thing
